| ***** Terrific spacey melodies with some wonderful riffs. Really enjoy those "WOOO!" moments as well. 4.75 Last edited: 11.04.2014 05:09 |
| *** Found myself getting lost throughout. |
| **** Cool song. |
| ****** "Walk Of Life" 2014! Although this feels a little more fleshed out. Synth riff + guitar riff right near each other are equally gratifying, and then who doesn't love to shout out a 'WOO!' every now and then?

Fantastic example of wearing ones influences on your sleeve, yet still doing enough on its own to justify it. | ****** Shoegazing lives on!! This is brilliant!! |

Edit: +1. Last edited: 28.04.2014 12:18 |
| ****** Zeer tof plaatje. Last edited: 02.08.2014 11:39 |
Aangenaam stukje muziek |
| **** Solid track! |
| ***** Wooo |
| **** A nice alternative track! |
| ****** I fear reviewing this because I feel my words will not bring justice to the sheer brilliance that this track is. Listening to this brings a huge instant nostalgia rush; the '80s synths are so beautiful, it takes me to another world. Couple that with the wonderful guitar riffs and you have a perfectly crafted melodic atmosphere. And then you add Adam Granduciel's dream vocals and the contemplative lyrics on top of that and you now have the perfect music that really describes you being "lost in a dream." Despite the nostalgia rush, this actually still sounds very fresh, calm but energetic, dreamy but still purposeful; it has the perfect blend of everything. You tell me that the album is like this too? Well no wonder it is highly rated by critics.

Also I cannot describe how pleased I am to see a live saxophonist as a part of this ensemble. This is music that you literally get lost in, in the most amazing way. Last edited: 10.02.2015 06:24 |
| ****** I am ashamedly late on this song, but thanks to the wonders of ACI, I was finally made to listen to it, and what a rewarding first listen it was. The first time I heard it, I thought 'wow this is really good', the second time was 'wow this is totally amazing'. I have now probably listened to this 20 times in the past 2 days, and I have not yet found a single thing to pick at about it.
The guitar riff next to the synth line is just awesome, and neither one overpowers the other, the vocals are perfectly suited to the music, that "WOO!" is just such a great kick into the instrumental breaks, the melody is so warm and homely and inviting, and I am totally in love with this in a way I haven't experienced since Swedish House Mafia's 'Don't You Worry Child'.

As for the influences here, it brings memories back for me of falling in love with Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', which would probably be in the top 30 of all time for me if I was to make such a chart right now. Already though, this doesn't have far to make up the gap to Joy Division's wonderful track. Absolute magic. |
| **** Cool!

Might grow on me more if I listen to it often in the next couple of weeks. |
Last edited: 12.11.2019 07:53 |
| ***** Sehr schöner Track, und es rockt. Under the Pressure klingt im Vergleich langweiliger. |
| *** Its not really for me. The vocal effects annoy me a little bit. |
| **** Sound und Stimmung überzeugen. |
