**** <br>This is a very pretty sounding song, from the tinkling piano which kicks things off, to the vocals throughout, from both Matt and featured vocalist Gail Ann Dorsey. The melodies are beautiful, and the thudding beat isn't overbearing at all, instead it works well to complement everything else. The strings also shine in the background, heightening the drama of the song. The title line is very effective, and is probably the closest thing the song has to a chorus, however the song doesn't feel like it's lacking anything but not using one; every section flows together so nicely that anything more would feel like it's too much. |
