*****
Great album, all tracks are good, nothing bad on here.

his best album to date

This album is freaking fantastic!! I've always liked John Mayer's album but I like the way he has moved away from his normal sound with this one and done something different - brilliant and one of the best of 2012 I think.

I can't deny that I was initially disappointed by this album. I've always loved John Mayer but I think he really peaked with Battle Studies and I knew I wasn't going to like the follow up nearly as much. With that in mind, this still wasn't even as close as I was hoping. But over time I've grown to appreciate this more and more. It's a different and interesting move for him but it works quite well. I just need to remember that this album is good to listen to on a lazy day off at home, but not so great to play at work while doing stocktake.
