***** Well I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVED "Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings" from the first time I heard it, so I thought it was only right that I should check out the album. My immediate thought was disappointment because apart from the lead single, the rest of the album was in line with MOR folk which I just wasn't after. However this love of that song continued to grow anyway, and by sheer chance I ended up hearing another song from the album and really enjoying that. Enough so that I've gone back to the album and found myself really enjoying it. Tillman's voice is really captivating and strong even in the more mellow moments of the album and carries the narrative well, treading the lines from serious to comical. <br>Certainly one of the more interesting albums I've heard lately and a strong one at that. Also it goes without saying that the cover art is wonderful. 4.5
***** I listened to this quite a lot, and liked a few songs from it but never really got right into the album as a whole. Then I went several months without listeneing to it and when I came back I realised how fantastic it was. There's a fantastic mix of tracks on here, the vocals are wonderful and the songwriting is superb. A fantastic album!
