From 1976 to 1984 Billboard published a few charts by Ivan H. Hancock (Top 20) and Musica & Som. Portuguese official charts only begun in 1984 but i think that they were published in Billboard only after 1994 or 1995 and not in the 80s.

I don't think it's easy because the charts were in the back of the posters so there's a lot of magazines without the charts. Were you interested in the performance of french artists? I remember top 20's for Vanessa Paradis (Joe Le), Desireless (Voyage), Corine Hermés (Si La Vie Est Cadeau), Images (Love Emotion Tonight), Sandra Kim and Michel Sardou (Vladimir Illitch). Marie Myriam (L'Oiseau) and Art Sullivan (Petit Demoiselle) were best sellers in 1976 and 1977. I also remember a few with huge airplay like Jean François Maurice
